Stanwood High School

Stanwood High School was built as part of the 2017 bond. Construction took place in two phases. Phase l was completed during the summer 2018 and included site preparation, building pad, underground storm detention, and a soldier pile retaining wall. The Phase I contractor was Taylor's Excavators and the final cost with tax and change orders was $4,876,165.48.

Phase II began in January 2019, and included improvements and an addition to the Field House; new artificial turf on the football field; street improvements; new turf baseball, softball, and multipurpose fields; a new 241,266-square-foot main building, and a 14,000-square-foot CTE building with two new greenhouses. The school was completed in the fall 2021. The final cost with tax and change orders is $106,153,973.67 as of March 1, 2023.
