Approval of Calendar Update for 2018-19 , as follows: The District Requests Waiver of Four School Days from the Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI), Extend the School Year Three Days, convert Four Professional Development Late-Start Wednesdays to Full Days, and convert the Final Day of School to a Full Day of School.   17. COMMENTS BY CITIZENS 1:25 PM
    The Board recognizes the value of public comment on educational issues and the importance of involving citizens in its meetings. To permit fair and orderly expression of such comment, the Board will provide a period at each regular meeting during which citizens may address the Board. Those wishing to speak should sign up in advance. The Board welcomes comments but, in general, will not act on them during the meeting.
