  3. Budget (adjusting where necessary throughout the year)
  4. Student Engagement/Closing achievement gap (create monitoring/evaluation systems and adjust where necessary)
  5. Inclusiveness
  6. Student Safety; social, emotional, physical
  7. Strategic Plan - Development

Long Term (revisit yearly):

  1. Future Capital Projects; Levies, Facilities & Technology Planning
  2. Expansion of Communication; community, district level, building level, employees (creating opportunity for intentional, meaningful conversations on a regular basis)
  3. Budget - Fiscal Responsibility
  4. Increase in student achievement
  5. Inclusiveness
  6. Student safety; social, emotional, physical
  7. Strategic Plan – Implementation & Progress Monitoring

Board participation:

  1. Community/School involvement
  2. Calendar progress checks
  3. Building/Department check-ins
  4. Educate community on role of a board member through website, etc.
  5. Host a community forum
