COMMENTS BY CITIZENS 7:10 PM
The Board recognizes the value of public comment on educational issues and the importance of involving citizens in its meetings. To permit fair and orderly expression of such comment, the Board will provide a period at each regular meeting during which citizens may address the Board. Those wishing to speak should sign up in advance. The Board welcomes comments but, in general, will not act on them during the meeting.

2. Donations and Recognitions (The Board wishes to announce donations publicly. However, in accordance with Board Policy 6114, donations exceeding $500.00 must formally be approved in the Consent Agenda.)

All items on the Consent Agenda have been distributed to Board Members for study and are considered routine. The Consent Agenda may be enacted by one motion of the Board. If discussion of an individual item is desired, that item may be removed from the Consent Agenda by any Board Member and placed on the regular agenda for Board action. Audience members may speak to a consent agenda item after the item is identified and before the vote is taken.

The administration recommends that the Board of Directors approve the Consent Agenda as follows:

3. Approval of YMCA of Greater Seattle Camp Orkila Agreement for Elger Bay Elementary Fifth Grade Outdoor Education Experience June 2-4, 2014. That the Board approves the YMCA of Greater Seattle Camp Orkila Agreement for Elger Bay Elementary Fifth Grade Outdoor Education Experience June 2-14, 2014, dated May 20, 2014. (GP)

4. Approval of the Second Reading and Adoption of New Student Policies:
a. Policy 3245, Isolation and Restraint of Students with IEP's and Section 504 Plans,
