COMMENTS BY CITIZENS 12:05 PM
The Board recognizes the value of public comment on educational issues and the importance of involving citizens in its meetings. To permit fair and orderly expression of such comment, the Board will provide a period at each regular meeting during which citizens may address the Board. Those wishing to speak should sign up in advance. The Board welcomes comments but, in general, will not act on them during the meeting.

1. Donations and Recognitions (The Board wishes to announce donations publicly. However, in accordance with Board Policy 6114, donations exceeding $500.00 must formally be approved in the Consent Agenda.)

CONSENT AGENDA 12:20 PM

All items on the Consent Agenda have been distributed to Board Members for study and are considered routine. The Consent Agenda may be enacted by one motion of the Board. If discussion of an individual item is desired, that item may be removed from the Consent Agenda by any Board Member and placed on the regular agenda for Board action. Audience members may speak to a consent agenda item after the item is identified and before the vote is taken.

The administration recommends that the Board of Directors approve the Consent Agenda as follows:

1. Approval of Stanwood High School Field Trips:
a. Boys Swim Team to State Competition, February 20-22, 2014, Federal Way, Washington,
b. Boys and Girls Wrestling Team to State Competition, February 20-22, 2014, Tacoma, Washington,
c. Future Farmers of America (FFA) Team to North Central Washington Junior Livestock Show, March 27-29, 2014, Moses Lake, Washington,
d. Sports Medicine Team to State Competition, April 24-26, 2014, Yakima, Washington,
e. Future Farmers of America (FFA) Natural Resources to State Envirothon Competition, May 21-22, 2014, Carnation, Washington.
