COMMENTS BY CITIZENS 7:10 PM
The Board recognizes the value of public comment on educational issues and the importance of involving citizens in its meetings. To permit fair and orderly expression of such comment, the Board will provide a period at each regular meeting during which citizens may address the Board. Those wishing to speak should sign up in advance. The Board welcomes comments but, in general, will not act on them during the meeting.

CONSENT AGENDA 8:30 PM
All items on the Consent Agenda have been distributed to Board Members for study and are considered routine. The Consent Agenda may be enacted by one motion of the Board. If discussion of an individual item is desired, that item may be removed from the Consent Agenda by any Board Member and placed on the regular agenda for Board action. Audience members may speak to a consent agenda item after the item is identified and before the vote is taken.

The administration recommends that the Board of Directors approve the Consent Agenda as follows:

b. FFA Natural Resources Team to FFA State Livestock/Meats Career Development Event Contest, May 6-7, 2014, Orcas Island, Washington. That the Board approves the FFA Livestock and Meats Judging Team and FFA Natural Resources Team Field Trips, listed, dated April 15, 2014. (LS)

3. Approval of Elger Bay Elementary 5th Grade Outdoor Education Field Trip to Camp Orkila, June 2-4, 2014, Orcas Island, Washington. That the Board approves Elger Bay Elementary 5th Grade Outdoor Education Field Trip to Camp Orkila, June 2-4, 2014, Orcas Island, Washington, dated April 15, 2014. (JS)

4. Approval of 2014-15 Northwest Educational Service District Snohomish County Detention Center Education Program Interlocal Cooperative Agreement. That the Board approves the 2014-15 Northwest Educational Service District Snohomish County Detention Center Education Program Interlocal Cooperative Agreement, dated April 15, 2014. (GP)

5. Approval of Resolution 2013/14-005 , Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction 2012 Jobs Now Act Energy Operational Cost Savings Grant. That the Board approves Resolution 2013/14-005, Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction 2012 Jobs Now Act Energy Operational Cost Savings Grant, dated March 18, 2014. (LL)
