SENIOR CITIZEN RECOGNITION
The board recognizes and appreciates the contributions senior citizens have made to their community and schools throughout their lifetime. In recognition of these past contributions, the district may provide opportunities for:
A. Residents aged 60 and above to purchase lunches in school cafeterias at the price charged to staff of the district.
B. Residents aged 60 and above, who by reason of their low income would have difficulty in paying the admission fare to school-sponsored programs or athletic events, to be admitted for a nominal or no fee.
The superintendent shall develop procedures for providing these opportunities to eligible senior citizens.
