New Student and Kindergarten Registration

RegistrationNew Student Online Enrollment registration for the 2022/23 school year will be open for submission on April 1st, 2022.

If you are unsure which school is your resident/home school please contact our Transportation Department 360-629-1299, or Rona Olson 360-629-1237.

To register for kindergarten, your students must be 5 years old prior to September 1, 2022. Please visit your resident school (or follow the online registration instruction below) to register for the 2022-23 school year. 

For new families who do not have a Family Access Account with the Stanwood-Camano School District, please choose the New Student Online Enrollment Link and follow the steps to create an account. After you submit your request you will receive an email with login instructions. This account is only for the purpose of using the New Student Online Enrollment application.

If you currently have an active Family Access Account – you can login and choose the online enrollment link in the upper left corner to enroll a new student.

During the registration process you will have the opportunity to upload attachments to provide: proof of residency, immunization documentation, birth certificate, and any legal court documents.

Acceptable documents for proof of residency would be a Utility bill, Rental Agreement, or Closing documents for purchase of a home.

Here are some examples of medically verified immunization records with links for your convenience, this information is also included in the New Student Online Enrollment application:

  • A completed Certificate of Immunization Status (CIS) signed by a health care provider. Find the CIS form by visiting and clicking on “Certificate of Immunization Status.”
  • A CIS filled out by you or another parent/guardian with medical records attached.
  • A CIS printed by a health care provider or school from the Washington State Immunization Information System.
  • A CIS printed from MyIR which is a free Department of Health online tool that allows families to view and print their official immunization records themselves. Go to to begin the sign-up process.

If you are requesting an exemption from one or more of the immunization requirements, you must provide the school a completed Certificate of Exemption.

*Please note: student enrollment missing the approved Immunization documentation will be considered pending until verified documentation is received by the school registrar.
