Early Entrance for Kindergarten Information

Children who will turn 5 between September 1 and November 30 may be eligible for early entrance into kindergarten at the request of the parent if the child is developmentally ready to succeed in the program.

For spring assessment, parents must submit their request by June 1. There is a $100.00 fee for this assessment that is the responsibility of the parents. An exemption can be made for families who are eligible for federal free or reduced meal status. Please ask about the special form necessary to qualify for this exemption.

Please see attached links below for more information and/or to register for early entrance to kindergarten assessment.

If you would like more information on early entrance to kindergarten, please call Rona Olson, 360-629-1237.
