Tech

The Technology Department supports the staff and students at all facilities districtwide. We provide technical assistance and technology resource management.

The Technology Department also oversees the projects funded by the now-expired Capital-Technology Levy, which included efforts such as:

  • Replacing existing older equipment

  • Increasing the number of computer labs, mobile labs, and student accessible technology at each school

  • Improving the student-to-computer ratio

  • Increasing the curricular tools and online educational resources to schools

  • Supporting school-home connections with improved communications tools

  • Providing online access to student information, grades, and resources

  • Providing professional development and technical support to staff that will impact teaching and learning

  • Upgrading infrastructure to meet these emerging technology needs

Qustodio

To support families in creating healthier tech habits at home, we are excited to now offer Qustodio, a free digital safety and wellness tool available to all Stanwood-Camano families.

With Qustodio, parents can:

  • Set screen time limits
  • Pause internet access
  • Schedule device “bedtimes”
  • View daily reports on one personal device per child

The tool also adds after-hours filtering on district Chromebooks, helping ensure safe and healthy digital use outside of school. Qustodio is private, COPPA-compliant, and fully supported by Qustodio — not managed by the school district. Learn more and sign up here: https://qustodio.com/my-school

Student tools

All online student tools are on our online portal called Clever.

Clever allows school links to be organized, we set up application rostering through them and K-3rd grade students use a Clever badge (QR code) to log in to Chromebooks.

Usernames and passwords are the typical ones your students use for online access at school. If they aren't sure what to use, please see the documents below for instructions.
