What is Child Find?

Child Find is how our district locates, screens, and evaluates children and young adults (birth through age 22) who may need special education or related services. This includes children not yet in school, students in private school, homeschooled students, and students experiencing homelessness or living temporarily within our district boundaries.

Common developmental or learning concerns

Hearing, vision, speech and language, health, learning or developmental delays, behavior, intellectual disability, birth defects, orthopedic or spinal concerns, autism, and other suspected disabilities.
