2025-26 Budget and Four-Year Budget Summary for approval at the Aug. 19, 2025, School Board meeting
Notice Of Meeting To Adopt The 2025-26 Budget And Conduct Public Hearing
NOTICE is hereby given, pursuant to RCW 28A.505.050 and RCW 28A.505.060, that the Board of Directors of the Stanwood-Camano School District No. 401, Snohomish County, Washington, will hold a regular board meeting on August 19, 2025, at 6:00 PM in the Administration & Resource Center Boardroom, located at 26920 Pioneer Highway, Stanwood, Washington. The meeting is called for the purpose of fixing and adopting the budget of the District for the ensuing 2025-26 fiscal year. Prior to adoption of the 2025-26 budget, the Board will hold a hearing for the purpose of receiving comments from the public on the 2025-26 budget. Any person may appear at the hearing and be heard for or against any part of the 2025-26 budget, the four-year budget plan, or any proposed changes to uses of enrichment funding under RCW 28A.505.240 (a/k/a Educational Programs & Operations Replacement Levy). Upon conclusion of the hearing, the Board shall fix and determine the appropriation from each fund contained in the 2025-26 budget separately and shall, by resolution, adopt the 2025-26 budget, the four-year budget plan summary, and the four-year enrollment projection, and the appropriations as so finally determined. 2025-26 budget information is available on the District website, www.stanwood.wednet.edu, or may be obtained by contacting Ruth Floyd, Executive Director of Business Services, at 360-629-1200. Written public comment regarding the proposed 2025- 26 budget must be received prior to the August 19, 2025, Board of Directors Regular Meeting.
