Athletic Facility Advertising
The Stanwood-Camano School District is committed to maintaining a focus on education while allowing limited commercial advertising to help support student activities, athletics, and programs. Carefully regulated advertising at select district athletic facilities provides an opportunity to generate revenue that directly benefits students.
All advertising must align with district policies, procedures, and applicable laws, and must not distract from the educational environment.

Sign Specifications:
All advertisements must be aluminum outdoor signs measuring 3 feet wide by 2 feet high, with NO pre-drilled holes. The advertiser must design their own sign, get approval from the district, order their sign (these signs can be bought for about $100 via online or storefront sign printers), and have it shipped to our Maintenance Department for installation:
Stanwood-Camano School District Maintenance Department
7401 272nd St. NW
Stanwood, WA 98292
The advertisements will be installed in batches at least twice a year — in August and in February — unless staff is able to facilitate installation at additional times.
More information about advertising fees, available locations, and the application process can be found in Policy 6815 and Procedure 6815.
Revenue Use
Proceeds from athletic facility advertising are district funds and will be deposited into the Associated Student Body (ASB) program fund to support student activities, athletic equipment, awards programs, and other related expenses, consistent with Board Policy 3510 and 6815.
