COMMENTS BY CITIZENS 12:05 PM
The Board recognizes the value of public comment on educational issues and the importance of involving citizens in its meetings. To permit fair and orderly expression of such comment, the Board will provide a period at each regular meeting during which citizens may address the Board. Those wishing to speak should sign up in advance. The Board welcomes comments but, in general, will not act on them during the meeting.

1. Donations

CONSENT AGENDA 12:15 PM
All items on the Consent Agenda have been distributed to Board Members for study and are considered routine. The Consent Agenda may be enacted by one motion of the Board. If discussion of an individual item is desired, that item may be removed from the Consent Agenda by any Board Member and placed on the regular agenda for Board action. Audience members may speak to a consent agenda item after the item is identified and before the vote is taken.

The administration recommends that the Board of Directors approve the Consent Agenda as follows:

1. Approval of Donations . That the Board approves the donations, dated July 6, 2010. (JS)

2. Approval of Stanwood High School Field Trips:
a. Agricultural Science Envirothon Team to Canon Envirothon Competition, July 31-August 8, 2010, Fresno, California.
b. Future Farmers of America Natural Resource Team to 2010 National FFA Competition, October 17-23, 2010, Indianapolis, Indiana.
That the Board approves the Stanwood High School Field Trips, as listed (a-b) dated July 6, 2010. (LS)

3. Approval of Stanwood Middle School Field Trip:
a. Leadership Team Camp , August 13-16, 2010, Randle, Washington
That the Board approves the Leadership Team Camp Field Trip dated July 6, 2010. (LS)

4. Approval of Second Reading/Adoption of Policy 2024, Online Learning . That the Board approves the Second Reading/Adoption of Policy 2024, Online Learning dated July 6, 2010. (LS)

5. Approval of Cooperative Agreement with Pacific Lutheran University . That the Board approves the Cooperative Agreement with Pacific Lutheran University dated July 6, 2010. (LL)

6. Approval of Northwest Educational Service District 189 ( NWESD 189) Data Processing Services for FY 2010-11 through Northwest Regional Data Center (NWRDC) and Washington School Information Processing Cooperative (WSIPC). That the Board approves the NWESD 189 Data Processing Services for FY 2010-11 through NWRDC and WSIPC dated July 6, 2010. (GP)

7. Approval of 2010-11 Contracts for Professional and Educational Service Providers :
a. Speech Language Pathologist: Kandyce Hansen dba, Rehab Solutions, Inc.
b. Teacher for the Visually Impaired: Jo Linda Finne

d. Pacific Learning Center

8. Approval to Hold a Public Hearing for the Adoption of the FY 2010-11 Budget on August 17, 2010 . That the Board Approves to Hold a Public Hearing for the Adoption of the FY 2010-11 Budget on Augsut 17, 2010, dated July 6, 2010. (GP)

9. Approval of Student Fee Report for FY 2010-11 . That the Board approves the Student Fee Report dated July 6, 2010. (GP)

10. Approval of Contract for Telecommunication Services to Integra Telecom . That the Board approves the Contract for Telecommunication Services to Integra Telecom dated July 6, 2010. (GP)

11. Approval of Personnel Consent Agenda. That the Board approves the Personnel Consent Agenda, dated July 6, 2010, including certificated/classified new hires, resignations, leave requests, retirements, and travel. (LL)
