Let us drive your student to and from school!

Check out your student's route and bus stop information for the 2023-24 school year now at our Bus Route Information webpage, which includes instructions on how to use Versatrans eLink.

The big yellow school bus is one of the safest vehicles on the road, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

We have 50 buses out each morning traversing the 140 square miles in the Stanwood-Camano School District.

Our drivers pride themselves on building meaningful connections with their students. They are the first staff member a student sees each morning and the last one they see after school.

Learn more and find your route information on our Transportation Department webpage.

We urge you to help keep our buses safe by brushing up on the rules when it comes to school buses loading or unloading students.

  • You must ALWAYS stop if you are traveling in the same direction as the school bus.

  • On a two-lane road, traffic in both directions needs to stop.

  • If there are three or more lanes, or a divided roadway, you are not required to stop if you’re traveling in the opposite direction of the bus.

  • Please keep in mind that even if you are not required to stop, you need to proceed with caution.

  • Failure to stop for a school bus can run you a $500 ticket.

And lastly, please remember that 20 mph school zones are active again — so drive cautiously near our schools and crosswalks!
