is a special education
teacher at Twin City Elementary.
In 2006 Tracy was hired as a leave replacement and working part-time
over the years until she was hired full-time in 2011. Tracy is known for her organization and for setting an
environment that is supportive, positive, and gives an opportunity for students
to learn, grow, and shine.
Janine Mai is para educator at Twin City Elementary and enjoys working on the playground with the children. She has worked for the Stanwood-Camano School District for 18 years, assisting teachers and working with students in the classroom. Janine makes going outside fun for all of the kids.
Paige Watson joined the counseling team at Stanwood High School in 2012. Parents have been impressed by her attention to detail and being a student advocate. Paige cares about the experience that each student has at Stanwood High School.
is a para-educator at Utsalady Elementary and
is adored by the children. Merry
brings a kind and gentle nature and a positive, cheerful attitude to the ASSIST
(Active Student Support for Independence, Skills and Transition) Program. She has been employed with the District
for 10 years.
Cherae Almanza teaches mathematics at Stanwood Middle School. Over the past 12 years Cherae has also taught science, PE and block classes and recently earned the Residency Principal and Program Administrator Certificate. She is dedicated to find ways to engage and motivate her students to do well and is a resource for other teachers and administration.
Debbie Saylor is a driver and driver-trainer for the Stanwood-Camano School District’s transportation department. She has worked for the District for 23 years safely transporting students. She also supports the community by volunteering to organize “Fill the Bus” food drive and various blood drives at the transportation center.
