The Board of Directors have recognized the following Classified Employees of the Month.
DECEMBER - the Transportation Department for their contributions to our students and community with their "Fill the Bus" food drive campaign. A few of the drivers, mechanics, and office staff were available for the photo.
Again, thank you for your commitment to the Stanwood-Camano School District!
The community has clearly indicated their support for a new Stanwood High School, Lincoln Hill High School/Linclon Academy/Saratoga alternative program facility and maintenance/technology building. The district has been told by numerous sources that "now the real work begins," and the district is happy to have the opportunity. Below please find an update about what is currently being done and a preliminary timeline.
I am thrilled to announce that our bond is passing with a vote of approximately 68% yes!
I would like to thank our parents, community, businesses, staff, and students for working together to make this happen! This is not only a reflection of several years of strong planning but marks the beginning of an exciting time for our school district and community. I continue to be impressed by the pride that our community has for our school district. Thank you so very much for your support and doing what's best for our students!
